Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance Oversight: Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, components, and installations to verify compliance with international standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. Ensure that all mechanical work adheres to the highest quality benchmarks.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and non-conformances. Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting deviations, corrective actions, and compliance status to support project stakeholders and audits.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to identify quality-related issues early and recommend solutions. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in mechanical quality standards.
• Compliance and Certification: Verify that mechanical installations meet local and international codes, such as ASME, ISO, and Saudi Aramco standards. Coordinate with third-party inspectors and certification bodies to ensure seamless project approvals.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively assess potential risks in mechanical systems and recommend preventive measures to avoid costly rework or delays. Contribute to the development of quality control plans tailored to project requirements.
• Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior inspectors and construction personnel on quality protocols, inspection techniques, and best practices. Promote a shared commitment to excellence across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. A diploma in mechanical technology with relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ, ISO 9001) will also be considered.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical quality inspection, preferably within the construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors. Experience in large-scale projects is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, pressure vessels, and rotating equipment. Familiarity with inspection tools (e.g., ultrasonic testing, pressure gauges) and quality management software.
• Certifications: Valid certifications in mechanical inspection (e.g., API, ASME) or quality control are advantageous. Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding ethical standards in all quality-related activities.
