Strategy & Corporate Excellence Director

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Strategy & Corporate Excellence Director to spearhead the development, alignment, and execution of our Group’s strategic agenda. This pivotal role will bridge the gap between the Board’s long-term vision and operational implementation, ensuring that corporate objectives are seamlessly translated into measurable outcomes across all entities. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chairman of the Board, serving as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and corporate excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As the Strategy & Corporate Excellence Director, you will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Lead the Group’s strategic planning cycle, overseeing the formulation and execution of corporate strategy while ensuring alignment with the Board’s directives and organizational priorities.
• Cross-Entity Alignment: Drive cohesion across multiple entities by cascading strategic objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance metrics to ensure unified progress toward shared goals.
• Performance Management: Champion corporate performance management through rigorous operational and strategic reviews, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
• Transformation & Governance: Oversee the governance and successful delivery of strategic initiatives and transformation programs, ensuring adherence to best practices in project and corporate governance.
• Excellence Initiatives: Lead corporate excellence efforts, including EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) frameworks, continuous improvement methodologies, and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Governance & Policy: Establish and maintain robust corporate governance practices, including policy management and comprehensive support for Board committees to uphold regulatory compliance and ethical standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with executive leadership and the Chairman to align strategic priorities with business outcomes, fostering a collaborative environment that drives sustainable growth.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing Strategy & Corporate Excellence team, cultivating a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and professional background:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or Master’s degree is highly desirable.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in Strategy, Corporate Development, Management Consulting, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and organizational transformation.
• Multi-Entity Experience: Demonstrated experience working within multi-entity organizations, holding companies, or large conglomerates, with a deep understanding of complex business structures.
• Expertise in Strategic Frameworks: Strong proficiency in Balanced Scorecards, EFQM, project governance, and corporate governance frameworks.
• Professional Certifications: Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are advantageous.
