Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing patient outcomes by conducting thorough eye examinations, diagnosing visual conditions, and providing tailored treatment solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting our ophthalmologists, ensuring seamless patient care, and contributing to the overall success of our clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Eye Examinations: Perform detailed assessments of visual acuity and ocular health using advanced diagnostic tools, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and fundus photography, to identify potential issues with precision.
• Diagnosis and Management: Detect and address a range of visual conditions, such as refractive errors, amblyopia, glaucoma suspects, diabetic retinopathy, and macular diseases, while developing effective management plans.
• Prescriptive Solutions: Recommend and prescribe corrective eyewear, including glasses, contact lenses, or low-vision aids, to enhance patient comfort and visual function.
• Pre- and Post-Operative Care: Assist in the preparation and follow-up of patients undergoing ophthalmic surgeries, ensuring continuity of care and optimal recovery outcomes.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in adherence to company protocols and regulatory standards, facilitating seamless communication within the healthcare team.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with ophthalmologists, nurses, and administrative staff to streamline clinic operations, enhance patient experiences, and uphold the highest standards of clinical care.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry from an accredited university. A Master’s degree or Doctor of Optometry (OD) is considered a valuable asset.
• Licensure: Valid license to practice optometry in Saudi Arabia, issued by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Experience: A minimum of 1–3 years of clinical experience is preferred, though newly licensed optometrists are encouraged to apply.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to operate and interpret results from optometric diagnostic equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient patient assessments.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with fluency in both Arabic and English to engage effectively with diverse patient populations.
