Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Sales Manager – Building Materials to join our esteemed team at NUVAC, based in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within the building materials sector. Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve revenue targets for building materials projects. Lead a high-performing sales team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations to drive productivity and accountability.
- Client Engagement: Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, contractors, architects, and developers to secure long-term business opportunities. Act as the primary point of contact for high-value projects, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with client expectations.
- Project Execution: Oversee the end-to-end management of building materials projects, from initial inquiry to final delivery. Collaborate with internal departments, including logistics, production, and customer service, to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the building materials industry. Leverage insights to refine sales strategies and enhance product positioning.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of building materials, including specifications, applications, and industry standards. Provide technical support to clients and internal teams to address inquiries and resolve challenges effectively.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, project milestones, and KPIs using advanced analytics tools. Prepare detailed reports for senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications in sales or project management are advantageous.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in sales, project management, or business development within the building materials or construction industry. Prior experience in a managerial role is highly preferred.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of building materials, construction methodologies, and industry regulations. Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into actionable sales strategies.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English are required.
