Business Lead - Communications Consultancy

Position Overview

Publicis Groupe Holdings B.V is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Lead for our Communications Consultancy division, based in Riyadh. This pivotal role is designed for a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric environment. The Business Lead will be responsible for driving business growth, fostering client relationships, and leading high-impact communications projects that align with our clients’ objectives. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our consultancy services in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies that enhance brand visibility, reputation, and engagement for our clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and market trends.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that exceed expectations. Build and maintain long-term partnerships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and lead initiatives to expand our client base. Prepare compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure high-value contracts and projects.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of communications professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Ensure the team delivers high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of communications projects, from initial concept to final implementation. Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in communications consultancy. Leverage this knowledge to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a proven track record in communications consultancy, business development, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in communications consultancy, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the communications landscape in the Middle East, particularly in Riyadh.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communications plans that drive measurable results.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in winning new business and managing client relationships in a consultative environment.
