Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance Oversight: Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive QA/QC plans for residential architectural projects, ensuring adherence to project requirements, Saudi building codes, and international standards such as ISO 9001.
• Inspection and Compliance: Conduct regular on-site inspections and audits to verify compliance with architectural drawings, specifications, and regulatory frameworks. Identify deviations and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of inspections, test results, and compliance documentation. Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and regulatory authorities, highlighting areas of concern and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to align QA/QC processes with project timelines and objectives. Facilitate clear communication to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned with quality standards.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance QA/QC methodologies, tools, and workflows. Propose and implement innovative solutions to streamline processes, reduce errors, and improve overall project quality.
• Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior QA/QC engineers and site staff on quality control protocols, safety standards, and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.
• Risk Management: Assess potential risks associated with project execution and develop mitigation strategies to prevent quality-related issues. Ensure proactive measures are in place to address challenges before they escalate.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in QA/QC roles within the architectural or construction industry, with a focus on residential projects. Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), QA/QC tools, and project management systems. Familiarity with Saudi building codes, fire safety regulations, and sustainability standards is essential.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve quality-related issues efficiently. Strong analytical mindset to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus. Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and foster a collaborative work environment. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
