Position Overview

As a Polisher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the pristine appearance of our hotel’s floors, marble surfaces, and other designated areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to creating an inviting and polished environment for our guests and staff alike. Key Responsibilities

• Surface Maintenance: Polish and maintain floors, marble surfaces, and other designated areas to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate polishing and floor-care equipment to achieve optimal results while adhering to safety protocols.
• Preparation and Inspection: Clean and prepare surfaces prior to polishing activities, and conduct thorough inspections to verify that quality and appearance standards are consistently met.
• Issue Reporting: Identify and promptly report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor to ensure timely resolution and guest safety.
• Compliance and Safety: Strictly follow health, safety, and hotel cleanliness procedures to maintain a secure and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
• Equipment Maintenance: Regularly maintain polishing equipment to ensure it remains in optimal working condition, extending its lifespan and efficiency.
• Supply Management: Replenish and manage polishing materials and cleaning supplies to support uninterrupted operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide support to housekeeping and maintenance teams as needed to ensure seamless operations and a consistently polished appearance across all areas.
• Guest Experience Enhancement: Ensure that guest and public areas are consistently clean, presentable, and well-maintained to uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Prior experience in polishing, floor maintenance, or a related role within the hospitality or facilities management industry.
• Proficiency in operating polishing and floor-care equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve shared goals.
• Commitment to adhering to health, safety, and cleanliness protocols at all times.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods.
