Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Front-End Developer to join our dynamic remote team. This role is designed for early-career professionals who are passionate about web technologies and eager to contribute to the development of responsive, user-centric applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams to build and maintain modern web applications. Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring seamless functionality across devices and browsers.
• Assist in the creation of reusable UI components and front-end features to enhance efficiency and maintainability.
• Translate UI/UX design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, responsive web pages that align with design specifications.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness to deliver a consistent user experience.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance to meet industry standards and user expectations.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work collaboratively with designers, developers, and product managers to deliver cohesive and high-quality solutions.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team meetings to align on project goals and progress.
• Communicate technical challenges, progress updates, and solutions clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and web services, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.

Code Quality & Best Practices

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Debug and resolve front-end issues efficiently, leveraging browser developer tools and testing methodologies.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability and performance of developed applications.

Continuous Learning & Innovation

• Stay current with modern front-end technologies, frameworks, and development trends to enhance technical expertise.
• Explore new tools, libraries, and methodologies to improve development processes and user experience.
• Contribute innovative ideas to optimize workflows, enhance product functionality, and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in front-end development or web development, including internships, freelance projects, academic work, or personal initiatives.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Git version control for collaborative development.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), with a strong grasp of core concepts and modern features.
• Basic knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with responsive frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS to streamline development.
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON for integrating back-end services.
• Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging techniques to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Awareness of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices to ensure inclusive design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building personal or academic web projects that demonstrate technical initiative.
• Familiarity with TypeScript for enhanced code quality and maintainability.
• Basic understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API) for complex applications.
• Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers using tools like Figma to refine visual and interactive elements.
