Civil Engineer – Structural and Infrastructure Development

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of civil engineering tasks, including but not limited to:

• Project Planning and Design: Develop detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and utilities, using advanced software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit.
• Site Inspections and Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and address any technical challenges that may arise during the execution phase.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates to support project decision-making and ensure alignment with budgetary and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee that all construction activities meet industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Innovation and Problem-Solving: Identify opportunities for process improvements, adopt sustainable construction practices, and propose innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and durability.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record in project execution within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in engineering software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar tools, with the ability to create and interpret complex technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of local and international building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Professional certification, such as a PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent, is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
