Role Overview

The Technical Trainer (Manufacturing & Engineering) will be responsible for delivering comprehensive learning, development, and competency assessment programs tailored to the engineering workforce. This role focuses on dairy production maintenance and engineering utilities, ensuring alignment with operational business requirements and corporate learning and development objectives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the technical competencies of the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs for engineering staff in dairy production maintenance and engineering utilities.
• Assess and evaluate the competency levels of engineering personnel to identify training needs and gaps.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure training programs meet business objectives and industry standards.
• Develop and implement competency-based assessment frameworks to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to engineering staff to enhance their technical skills and operational efficiency.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing and engineering training.
• Prepare and maintain training records, reports, and documentation in compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional training initiatives to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Communications Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• A minimum of four years of relevant training experience within a large-scale manufacturing environment, preferably in the dairy or food and beverage industry.
• Proven expertise in developing and delivering technical training programs for engineering personnel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
• Familiarity with competency assessment methodologies and training evaluation frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
