Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in mechanical engineering principles, practices, and methodologies to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Reporting directly to the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to critical projects, uphold industry standards, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering Expertise: Apply comprehensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and methodologies to design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems and components. Ensure all work adheres to industry regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Project Execution: Lead and support mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, including feasibility studies, design development, and implementation. Utilize advanced technical skills to resolve complex engineering challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Collaboration and Communication: Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders, including departmental teams and external consultants. Foster strong working relationships with colleagues and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Infrastructure Information Modelling (IIM), and pre-concrete works. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance project outcomes.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and assessments to validate the integrity, safety, and efficiency of mechanical systems. Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record in designing, analyzing, and implementing mechanical systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in BIM, IIM, and pre-concrete works. Strong computer literacy with the ability to leverage engineering software and tools effectively.
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset to work harmoniously within a team environment.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing, is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and clients.
