Key Responsibilities

The COO will play a critical role in shaping the future of our healthcare organization by executing the following core responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Develop and implement robust operational frameworks to streamline clinical and administrative workflows, ensuring seamless patient care delivery and adherence to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to formulate and execute long-term strategic initiatives, clinical programs, and operational policies that drive organizational growth and innovation.
• Financial Stewardship: Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and cost-control measures to maintain financial sustainability while upholding clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Team Development & Leadership: Mentor, lead, and evaluate multidisciplinary teams across medical and administrative departments, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional development.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements, technological advancements, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and staff productivity.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key liaison between clinical staff, administrative teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in a clinical and medical environment:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree is required. Additionally, a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Medical Management (MMM), or an Executive MBA is highly preferred.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in healthcare operations, with a strong emphasis on clinical leadership, strategic planning, and financial management.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive organizational change, and cultivate a high-performance culture within a healthcare setting.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in clinical operations.
