Infrastructure Administrator - Saudi Arabia

Position Overview

TAWANTECH is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Administrator to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and robust performance across all systems. Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. Monitor system performance and address any issues proactively to minimize downtime.
• Network Administration: Manage and optimize the organization’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall configurations. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security policies and mitigate potential threats.
• Cloud Services Administration: Administer and optimize cloud-based solutions, including public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. Ensure cost-efficiency, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
• Storage and Backup Solutions: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage. Develop and enforce backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data.
• System Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessments. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and Saudi Arabian cybersecurity frameworks.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with vendors, third-party service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and services. Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs) to align with organizational goals.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and compliance status for management review.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure initiatives with business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure administration, with a proven track record in managing enterprise-level environments. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in server administration (Windows Server, Linux), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), storage solutions (SAN, NAS), and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python). Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Fluency in English is required; additional proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
• Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications in infrastructure administration, cloud computing, or cybersecurity are preferred.
