Delivery Manager

Role Overview

Parsons is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of projects in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex initiatives in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational objectives.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify potential risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth project execution.
• Resource Allocation: Optimize resource allocation, including personnel, budget, and tools, to maximize efficiency and productivity while maintaining project integrity.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control processes to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client requirements.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in project management, with a focus on delivery management in sectors such as construction, infrastructure, or technology.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal, is required to effectively engage with stakeholders in the region.
