Senior QA/QC Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA/QC Manager to oversee and elevate the quality assurance and quality control standards for our flagship project. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities, materials, and processes adhere to the most stringent compliance, safety, and performance benchmarks. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in managing high-rise developments within Saudi Arabia, with a proven track record of implementing robust quality systems, conducting rigorous audits, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality System Leadership: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QA/QC management system that aligns with international standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific specifications.
• Inspection & Testing Oversight: Lead and supervise inspection and testing activities throughout all construction phases to ensure full compliance with approved specifications, industry best practices, and local regulatory guidelines.
• Audit & Compliance Management: Conduct and oversee quality audits, manage non-conformance issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks and uphold quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to address quality challenges, resolve discrepancies, and ensure seamless execution of project deliverables.
• Documentation & Approval: Review, evaluate, and approve critical quality documentation, including method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), material submittals, and compliance reports to maintain transparency and accountability.
• Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Track and analyze quality performance metrics, identify potential risks, and propose strategic improvements to enhance overall project outcomes and efficiency.
• Team Leadership & Development: Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to QA/QC teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare and present detailed quality reports to project leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of findings, progress, and recommendations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Professional Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ISO, PMP, CQE, or equivalent are highly advantageous and demonstrate a commitment to industry best practices.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in QA/QC roles, with a strong focus on high-rise tower projects, preferably in large-scale or mega construction initiatives.
• Regional Expertise: Extensive experience working in Saudi Arabia, with a deep understanding of local construction codes, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities, strong analytical thinking, and outstanding communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
