Key Responsibilities

The OpenText Administrator will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing enterprise content management systems, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with business objectives. Your core responsibilities will include:

• OpenText Platform Administration: Administer OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS, and xECM environments with precision, including user and group management, role assignments, permissions, and security policy enforcement. Troubleshoot platform, application, and integration issues to maintain high availability and performance.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, database, SAP Basis, and network teams, to ensure cohesive system operations and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery validation procedures to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity in alignment with organizational policies.
• Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and optimize OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS, OTAC, and Extended ECM (xECM) solutions. Configure application servers, web servers, databases, and storage components to support robust OpenText environments.
• Version Upgrades & Patching: Plan and execute OpenText version upgrades and patching activities, including impact assessments, compatibility analysis, and rehearsals. Lead upgrade projects for OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, Extended ECM, and OTDS, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• SAP Integration Expertise: Administer SAP ArchiveLink integrations and configure OpenText xECM with SAP S/4HANA to streamline document archiving, retrieval, and workflow processes. Maintain Business Workspaces and Business References to enhance operational efficiency.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of OpenText Content Server Administration, Archive Server, Extended ECM (xECM), OpenText Directory Services (OTDS), and Archive Center.
• Project Experience: Minimum of 8 years in OpenText administration, including at least 2 full lifecycle implementations and 2 successful OpenText upgrade projects.
• SAP Integration: Hands-on experience with OpenText and SAP integration projects, particularly in S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Enterprise Support: Proven track record in supporting large-scale enterprise environments, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
