Position Overview: OpenText Administration

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OpenText Administrator to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS, and xECM environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in OpenText platforms, coupled with a strong background in enterprise-level system administration, SAP integrations, and lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities

• System Administration: Administer OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS, and xECM environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Manage user accounts, groups, roles, permissions, and security policies to maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve platform, application, and integration issues promptly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, database, SAP Basis, and network teams to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery validation procedures to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity. Conduct regular audits and performance tuning to enhance system efficiency.
• Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS, OTAC, and Extended ECM (xECM) platforms. Configure application servers, web servers, databases, and storage components to support OpenText environments.
• Upgrades & Patching: Plan, execute, and validate OpenText version upgrades and patching activities. Perform upgrade impact assessments, compatibility analysis, and rehearsals to ensure smooth transitions. Lead cutover planning and production deployment for OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, xECM, and OTDS upgrades.
• SAP Integration: Administer SAP ArchiveLink integrations and maintain OpenText xECM integration with SAP S/4HANA. Configure Business Workspaces and Business References to streamline document archiving and retrieval processes. Troubleshoot SAP/OpenText interfaces and workflow integrations to resolve technical challenges.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in OpenText administration, with expertise in OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, Extended ECM (xECM), OTDS, and Archive Center.
• Project Experience: Proven track record with at least 2 full lifecycle OpenText implementations and 2 successful OpenText upgrade projects.
• SAP Integration Expertise: Experience in OpenText and SAP integration projects, particularly with SAP S/4HANA and ArchiveLink configurations.
• Enterprise Support: Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• S/4HANA Transformation: Prior experience in S/4HANA transformation programs is highly desirable.
