As a Merchandiser at PepsiCo, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products are strategically positioned and presented in retail outlets, driving sales and enhancing brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

As a Merchandiser, your primary responsibility is to maximize the on-shelf presence of PepsiCo products in all assigned retail outlets. Your role involves executing merchandising activities, including in-store sampling sessions and promotions, to create engaging customer experiences and drive brand loyalty. You will work closely with the sales team to adhere to planograms for both on-shelf and off-shelf displays, ensuring compliance with agreed arrangements. Additionally, you will provide the pre-seller with timely market insights to identify and capitalize on selling opportunities.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Visiting specific over-the-counter (OT) outlets as outlined in your daily journey plan provided by your supervisor.
• Merchandising PepsiCo products, including SSFL (Snacks, Sweet Foods, and Liquids) items, across various access points such as shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Placing point-of-sale (POS) materials adjacent to PepsiCo displays to enhance visibility and promotional impact.
• Ensuring all access points are merchandised according to approved planograms to maintain consistency and brand integrity.
• Rotating products using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method and removing sub-standard items to maintain product freshness and quality.
• Monitoring and reporting competitive activities to identify market trends and opportunities.
• Reporting any deviations from agreed terms with assigned OT customers or outlets to your supervisor promptly.
• Submitting daily activity reports to your supervisor, summarizing the prior day’s tasks and outcomes.
• Participating in sampling and redemption campaigns as required to engage consumers and drive sales.
• Upholding a professional appearance and behavior in alignment with PepsiCo’s code of conduct.

Key Performance Measures

Your success in this role will be evaluated based on the following key performance indicators:

• Execution Standard: Consistently meeting merchandising and display standards to ensure optimal product presentation.
• LTA Enforcement: Adhering to Local Trade Agreements (LTA) to maintain compliance with PepsiCo’s policies and customer agreements.
• Journey Plan Adherence: Completing daily tasks and visiting assigned outlets as scheduled to maximize efficiency and coverage.
