About the Role

The Internal Auditor is responsible for executing the annual audit plan, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. This role reports directly to the Head of Internal Audit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic audits and special reviews to assess compliance with regulations and policies.
• Lead end-to-end internal audit assignments, from planning to execution and reporting.
• Develop risk and control matrices, process maps, and test programs aligned with COSO and IPPF standards.
• Evaluate internal controls and processes to identify risks and inefficiencies.
• Review financial transactions and assets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations for management.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and conduct follow-ups.
• Facilitate external audits and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Stay updated with internal policies, industry best practices, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified CPA, CA, or CIA.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing and the investment industry.
• Working knowledge of IIA IPPF/Standards, COSO, basic COBIT, and KSA regulatory context.
