Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team, with a primary focus on safeguarding Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks to ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of our critical infrastructure. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and supporting the overall resilience of our operational technology systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong technical background in ICS/OT cybersecurity, incident response, and risk management, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of security.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Specialist specializing in OT environments, your core responsibilities will include:
- Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk identification, assessment, and management activities for ICS/OT environments to ensure secure and reliable operations. Evaluate existing cybersecurity controls, analyze their effectiveness, and recommend strategic enhancements to strengthen the overall security posture.
- Incident Response: Lead and support incident investigations, including in-depth analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts within ICS/OT systems. Document, escalate, and report security incidents that pose immediate or ongoing operational risks, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Compliance and Governance: Perform regular cybersecurity reviews, audits, and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps in ICS/OT architectures. Review and update cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable legislation, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and IT teams to integrate robust security best practices into ICS/OT environments. Foster a culture of security awareness and collaboration to enhance the overall resilience of our operational technology systems.
- Continuous Learning: Maintain a proactive approach to staying informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and evolving security trends specific to ICS/OT systems. Leverage this knowledge to proactively mitigate risks and enhance our security posture.
Talent Profile
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Professional Experience: A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a demonstrated focus on ICS/OT environments.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in cybersecurity risk assessment, incident response, and vulnerability management within operational technology systems.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards relevant to ICS/OT environments.
- Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications are highly preferred, including Security+, OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), OSEP (Offensive Security Experienced Penetration Tester), CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst), or CSA (Certified Security Analyst).
