Key Responsibilities

As a Merchandiser, your primary responsibility will be to maximize the on-shelf presence of PepsiCo products in assigned retail outlets. Your role will involve a range of dynamic tasks designed to enhance product visibility and drive sales. You will be expected to:

• Execute Merchandising Activities: Visit specific retail outlets as outlined in your daily journey plan, provided by your supervisor. Merchandise PepsiCo products in designated access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays, ensuring compliance with approved planograms.
• Maintain Product Presentation: Place point-of-sale (POS) materials adjacent to PepsiCo displays to reinforce brand visibility. Rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to ensure freshness, and remove any sub-standard products to maintain high-quality standards.
• Monitor Competitive Activities: Keep a close watch on competitive products and activities within retail outlets. Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned customers or outlets to your supervisor promptly.
• Ensure Clean and Fresh Stock: Maintain a clean and organized retail environment, ensuring that PepsiCo products are always presented in the best possible condition. This includes adhering to planogram specifications and ensuring shelves are fully stocked.
• Participate in Promotional Campaigns: Support in-store sampling sessions and promotional activities when required, contributing to the execution of marketing initiatives that drive consumer engagement and sales.
• Report Daily Activities: Provide a detailed report of your daily activities to your supervisor, highlighting key observations, challenges, and opportunities encountered during your visits.
• Uphold Professional Standards: Maintain a professional appearance and behavior in line with PepsiCo’s code of conduct, representing the company with integrity and commitment.

Key Performance Measures

Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

• Adhere to Execution Standards: Consistently meet PepsiCo’s merchandising and execution standards to ensure optimal product placement and visibility.
• Enforce LTA (Local Trade Agreements): Ensure compliance with all local trade agreements and terms agreed upon with retail partners.
• Follow Journey Plans: Strictly adhere to your daily journey plan to maximize efficiency and coverage of assigned retail outlets.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Valid Driving License: A valid driver’s license is required to travel to assigned retail outlets as part of your daily journey plan.
