As a Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products maintain a strong on-shelf presence across all retail outlets, contributing to our mission of winning with purpose.

Key Responsibilities

As a Merchandiser within our dynamic sales team, your primary responsibility is to maximize the visibility and availability of our products in every outlet you serve. Your role involves meticulous execution of in-store merchandising tasks, including the following core duties:

• On-Shelf Optimization: Maintain and enhance our on-shelf presence by adhering to approved planograms for both on-shelf and off-shelf displays. Ensure all access points—shelves, stands, and floor displays—are merchandised according to the agreed arrangements.
• Product Rotation and Maintenance: Rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to ensure freshness and quality. Remove any sub-standard or expired products to maintain a clean and appealing stock presentation.
• Point-of-Sale (POS) Execution: Place and maintain POS materials next to our displays to drive consumer engagement and brand visibility. Ensure all promotional materials are correctly positioned and in good condition.
• Market Intelligence and Reporting: Supply your supervisor with up-to-date market information to identify and capitalize on selling opportunities. Monitor and report competitive activities, deviations from agreed terms, and any non-compliance issues to the pre-seller immediately.
• Daily Operations: Follow your daily journey plan to visit specific outlets, merchandising products as required. Report daily activities from the prior day to your supervisor to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Promotional Support: Participate in sampling sessions, promotions, and redemption campaigns when required to enhance consumer interaction and brand loyalty.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional appearance and behavior in alignment with PepsiCo’s code of conduct. Represent the company with integrity and commitment to excellence.

Key Performance Measures

Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed the following performance standards:

• Execution Standard: Consistently achieve high standards in merchandising execution to ensure optimal product placement and availability.
• LTA Enforcement: Adhere to and enforce Local Trade Agreements (LTA) to maintain strong business relationships with retail partners.
• Journey Plan Adherence: Follow your daily journey plan with precision to maximize efficiency and coverage across assigned outlets.
