As a Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products are strategically positioned and presented in retail outlets to maximize visibility and sales.

Key Responsibilities

As a Merchandiser within our sales team, your primary responsibility is to optimize the on-shelf presence of PepsiCo products in all assigned retail outlets. Your role will involve executing in-store merchandising tasks, including maintaining planogram compliance, conducting product rotations, and ensuring displays are clean, fresh, and visually appealing. Additionally, you may be required to participate in in-store sampling sessions and promotional activities to enhance consumer engagement and drive sales.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Merchandising: Adhering to approved planograms, placing products in designated access points such as shelves, stands, and floor displays, and ensuring POS (Point of Sale) materials are strategically positioned to support product visibility.
• Product Management: Rotating stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to maintain freshness, removing sub-standard products, and ensuring shelves are consistently stocked with high-quality merchandise.
• Market Intelligence: Monitoring and reporting competitive activities, deviations from agreed terms with retail partners, and providing timely updates to your supervisor to capitalize on selling opportunities.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring all merchandising activities align with PepsiCo’s standards and reporting daily activities, including any non-compliance issues, to your supervisor.
• Promotional Support: Participating in sampling and redemption campaigns as required to boost consumer interaction and sales performance.
• Professional Conduct: Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to PepsiCo’s code of conduct at all times.

Key Performance Measures

• Execution Standard: Consistently meeting merchandising and display standards to ensure optimal product presentation.
• LTA Enforcement: Adhering to and enforcing Local Trade Agreements (LTA) to maintain compliance with retail partners.
• Journey Plan Adherence: Following the daily journey plan provided by your supervisor to ensure timely and efficient execution of tasks.

Qualifications and Competencies

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A valid driving license to travel to assigned retail outlets.
• A strong service-oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with retail partners and consumers.
