Key Responsibilities

The Merchandiser plays a pivotal role in enhancing PepsiCo’s on-shelf presence and driving sales across all assigned outlets. This position requires a meticulous approach to merchandising, ensuring that products are strategically placed and visually appealing to maximize consumer engagement. The Merchandiser will execute the following responsibilities with precision and professionalism:

• Daily Route Execution: Visit designated outlets as outlined in the daily journey plan provided by your supervisor, ensuring timely and efficient execution of merchandising tasks.
• Product Merchandising: Merchandise PepsiCo products, including SSFL (Snacks, Sweet Foods, and Frozen Foods) items, across various access points such as shelves, stands, and floor displays, adhering to approved planograms.
• Point-of-Sale (POS) Material Placement: Strategically place POS materials adjacent to SSFL displays to enhance brand visibility and promotional effectiveness.
• Inventory Management: Rotate products using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to maintain freshness and remove any sub-standard or expired items. Ensure shelves are consistently stocked with clean, fresh products to meet consumer demand.
• Compliance and Reporting: Monitor and report competitive activities, deviations from agreed terms with assigned customers or outlets, and any non-compliance with planograms. Provide daily activity reports to your supervisor to facilitate performance tracking and decision-making.
• Promotional Support: Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns as required, engaging with consumers to drive brand loyalty and sales.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to PepsiCo’s code of conduct, representing the company with integrity and excellence in all interactions.

Key Performance Measures

Success in this role will be evaluated based on the following performance metrics:

• Execution Standard: Consistently meet or exceed merchandising standards to ensure optimal product placement and availability.
• LTA Enforcement: Adhere to and enforce Local Trade Agreements (LTA) to maintain compliance with PepsiCo’s commercial terms and conditions.
• Journey Plan Adherence: Follow the daily journey plan with precision to maximize efficiency and coverage across assigned outlets.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Valid Driving License: Possess a valid driver’s license to travel to assigned outlets efficiently and safely.
