Position Overview

Diyar Alwatan Trading & Contracting Company (DACO), a leading name in the construction and development sector based in Dammam, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Saudi National Architectural Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Design and Planning: Develop detailed architectural designs, blueprints, and 3D models for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution of architectural plans, including site inspections, progress monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all architectural designs adhere to Saudi building codes, environmental regulations, and municipal requirements, while facilitating necessary approvals and permits.
• Sustainability and Innovation: Integrate sustainable design principles and cutting-edge technologies to enhance energy efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and optimize resource utilization in all projects.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients to understand their vision, provide expert recommendations, and present design proposals that align with their objectives and budgetary constraints.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including technical reports, specifications, and drawings, while maintaining accurate records for audits and future reference.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and architectural staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field from a recognized institution. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management, with a proven track record in delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools. Familiarity with Saudi building codes and international standards is essential.
• Licensing: Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration as an Architectural Engineer is mandatory.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities, with a strong commitment to professional ethics and industry standards.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal, is required to effectively engage with stakeholders and clients.
