Role Overview

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Risk Manager – Mobility to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. Key Responsibilities

• Risk Identification and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate potential threats and vulnerabilities in mobility projects, including autonomous vehicles, smart infrastructure, and connected transportation systems. Utilize advanced methodologies to analyze risk exposure and prioritize mitigation efforts.
• Regulatory Compliance and Governance: Ensure strict adherence to local and international regulations governing mobility solutions, including safety standards, data privacy laws, and environmental policies. Develop and implement robust governance frameworks to maintain compliance and mitigate legal risks.
• Strategic Risk Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management principles into the planning and execution of mobility projects. Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on risk appetite, tolerance levels, and contingency planning to enhance project resilience.
• Incident Response and Mitigation: Lead the development of incident response plans to address potential disruptions in mobility operations. Monitor emerging risks and implement proactive measures to minimize their impact on project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder confidence.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners to foster transparent communication and alignment on risk management objectives. Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders to stay abreast of evolving trends and best practices.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics and risk modeling tools to quantify risk exposure and support evidence-based decision-making. Present actionable insights to stakeholders to facilitate informed risk mitigation strategies.
• Training and Awareness: Promote a culture of risk awareness within the organization by conducting training sessions and workshops for employees. Empower teams with the knowledge and tools necessary to identify and report risks effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will possess a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in risk management, preferably within the mobility, transportation, or infrastructure sectors. Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar credentials are highly desirable.

You should demonstrate a deep understanding of risk assessment methodologies, regulatory frameworks, and industry-specific challenges. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Proficiency in risk management software and data analysis tools will be an added advantage.
