Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, code, test, and deploy high-quality accounting software applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and best practices. Ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.
• System Architecture: Contribute to the architectural planning and design of accounting software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Optimize existing systems for improved functionality and user experience.
• Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with finance professionals, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Integrate accounting software with third-party financial systems, databases, and APIs.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate software functionality, identify bugs, and implement corrective measures. Ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of financial data processing.
• Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for deployed accounting software. Address user feedback and implement enhancements to improve system performance and usability.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API specifications, user manuals, and development guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Innovation and Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes in the accounting and financial software landscape. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance product competitiveness and user satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a strong foundation in software development with a specialization in accounting or financial applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, along with experience in database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL). Familiarity with accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards is highly desirable.
• Development Frameworks: Experience with software development frameworks and tools such as .NET, Spring Boot, Django, or React, as well as version control systems like Git.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including finance teams and end-users.
• Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development, with a focus on accounting or financial applications, is preferred.
