Control Room Supervisor I EXA Ceramics

Job Summary

The Control Room Supervisor I is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the control room at EXA Ceramics, a subsidiary of alfanar Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves monitoring and controlling various processes, ensuring the smooth operation of the plant, and maintaining high safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control plant processes from the control room.
• Ensure the safe operation of the plant by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Coach and mentor control room operators to enhance their skills and performance.
• Conduct regular rounds of the plant to ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
• Investigate and resolve any process upsets or equipment malfunctions.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of plant operations and incidents.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the plant operates smoothly and meets production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a control room or similar role, preferably in the ceramics or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of process control systems and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a shift-based role and handle on-call duties.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
