Position Overview

The Junior Accountant plays a pivotal role in supporting our Finance team by maintaining precise financial records, executing daily accounting operations, and ensuring strict adherence to company policies and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Record Maintenance: Accurately record and maintain financial transactions, journal entries, and general ledger accounts to ensure the integrity of our financial data.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Bank Reconciliation: Prepare and reconcile bank statements, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Month-End & Year-End Closing: Support the Finance team during critical closing periods by assisting with reconciliations, adjustments, and financial statement preparation.
• Payroll Support: Aid in payroll processing by verifying employee timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems while ensuring adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Budget & Asset Management: Support budget preparation, fixed asset tracking, and audit activities to enhance financial transparency and accountability.
• Collaborative Support: Work closely with senior accountants and cross-functional teams to streamline day-to-day finance operations and contribute to special projects as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, with fresh graduates strongly encouraged to apply.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software, with experience in Odoo ERP being a significant advantage.
• Knowledge Base: Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attributes: High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
