Role Overview
The Insurance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring seamless insurance operations within Innova Pharmacy. This full-time, on-site position is based in the Riyadh Region and is responsible for managing all insurance-related processes to support the company’s commitment to accessible healthcare. The Insurance Specialist will serve as the primary liaison between Innova Pharmacy, insurance providers, and customers, ensuring accurate and timely processing of insurance claims, coverage verifications, and reimbursements. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can navigate complex insurance policies while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Insurance Verification and Claims Processing: Verify customer insurance coverage, process claims and approvals, and coordinate with insurance companies and brokers to ensure timely reimbursements. Address customer inquiries regarding insurance coverage, prescription benefits, and healthcare services.
- Policy Administration: Manage insurance policy administration, including additions, deletions, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations. Prepare and negotiate insurance quotations based on client requirements and underwriting guidelines.
- Documentation and Compliance: Request, review, and maintain loss run reports to support policy renewals and risk assessments. Ensure all policy records are accurate and compliant with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. Reconcile policy documentation with invoices and payment records.
- Customer Service and Coordination: Provide prompt and professional customer service by responding to policy and coverage inquiries. Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and claims teams to ensure efficient policy management and resolve issues effectively.
- Financial Follow-Up: Monitor premium payments and support collections by following up with clients on outstanding balances. Follow up on pending quotations, policy amendments, and documentation to ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications and Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates must possess a strong foundation in insurance operations and policy administration. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field. Prior experience in insurance policy administration, quotations, and servicing is essential, along with a deep understanding of insurance terminology, underwriting processes, and policy documentation. Familiarity with loss runs, policy endorsements, and premium collections is highly advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with insurance management systems are required. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are critical to success in this role. Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide outstanding customer service is paramount.
