Role Overview

As Geidea continues to expand its global footprint, we are seeking a skilled and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in structuring and automating organizational data to ensure precision, consistency, and seamless integration across systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in transforming raw data into strategic insights that enhance key business metrics, optimize operational costs, and amplify overall company value. Key Responsibilities

• Data Automation & Reporting: Develop and implement automated reporting tools and processes to streamline data management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all business functions.
• Advanced Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of large-scale datasets related to sales performance, customer behavior, and financial metrics to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Technical Execution: Utilize advanced technical skills, including SQL for database querying, Tableau Prep for data preparation, and Python for scripting and automation, to extract, transform, and analyze data effectively.
• Strategic Alignment: Align reporting outputs with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across various departments to identify reporting needs, gather requirements, and deliver tailored solutions that address business challenges and opportunities.
• Problem Solving & Optimization: Address complex data challenges by leveraging multi-layered datasets, optimizing existing machine learning libraries, and enhancing analytical frameworks to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Expertise in SQL for complex database queries and data extraction.
  • Proficiency in Tableau Prep and Python for data manipulation, visualization, and automation.
  • Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning concepts is a strong advantage.
• Analytical & Business Acumen: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data trends, identify business opportunities, and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
