Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the health and wellness of our communities while working within a well-established and respected organization. The Pharmacist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications, providing expert counsel on proper usage, dosage, and potential side effects. Key Responsibilities
- Medication Dispensing and Counseling: Accurately review and dispense prescription medications, ensuring adherence to dosage instructions and providing clear, concise guidance on usage, side effects, and storage. Educate customers on over-the-counter products, health supplements, and wellness solutions to promote informed decision-making.
- Prescription Verification and Safety: Conduct thorough checks for drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies to mitigate risks and ensure patient safety. Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and inventory to support compliance and operational efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to local healthcare regulations, including the handling of controlled substances, documentation standards, and pharmacy policies. Implement best practices for medication storage, stock rotation, and inventory management to uphold product integrity and safety.
- Customer-Centric Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing tailored recommendations to meet individual health needs. Actively participate in health awareness campaigns, promotional activities, and community outreach initiatives to enhance public understanding of pharmaceutical care.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with pharmacy staff to streamline workflows, optimize inventory levels, and maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment. Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- Education and Licensure: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent qualification) from a recognized institution, along with a valid pharmacist license issued by the Saudi Ministry of Health. A strong foundation in pharmacology, dosage forms, and therapeutic applications is essential.
- Clinical and Patient-Care Expertise: Proven ability to verify prescriptions, assess medication safety, and provide evidence-based counseling to patients. Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and the principles of safe medication use.
