Presales Engineer - Riyadh

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Presales Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will serve as a critical technical resource, providing expert support to customers, system integrators, and end-users. This role involves conducting product training, leading proof of concepts (POCs), designing wireless and surveillance solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure solutions are tailored to meet the specific business requirements of customers across the KSA market.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for a diverse range of technical and consultative tasks, including:

• Technical Support: Deliver comprehensive technical assistance to customers, system integrators (SIs), and end-users, both remotely and onsite, ensuring seamless product implementation and troubleshooting.
• Product Training: Conduct structured training sessions for customers and partners in Oman, focusing on product features, configurations, and best practices to enhance user proficiency.
• Proof of Concept (POC) and IoT Activities: Lead and execute POCs at customer sites to validate project requirements, demonstrate solution feasibility, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Wireless Solution Design: Utilize predictive heatmaps and site surveys to design robust wireless networks, ensuring optimal coverage, performance, and scalability.
• Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with customers, system integrators, and end-users, working in tandem with the sales team to develop and propose customized solutions that address their unique needs.
• Technical Demonstrations and Workshops: Organize and deliver hands-on workshops and product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our solutions.
• Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation: Develop accurate and detailed BOQs based on heatmap designs or equivalent brand solutions, ensuring clarity and precision in project scoping.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and service, to ensure solutions are aligned with customer requirements and market demands.

Product Line Expertise

This role requires specialized knowledge across multiple product lines, including:

• Business Networking Product Line: Conduct POCs, design heatmaps, prepare BOQs, participate in techno-sales meetings, coordinate with R&D, and provide technical support.
• Surveillance Product Line (VIGI): Design CCTV solutions, deliver product demonstrations at events and customer sites, prepare BOQs, conduct training sessions, and offer technical support.
• ISP Product Line (GPON): Provide product training, set up lab environments, coordinate with R&D, and offer presales technical support.
• SOHO Product Line: Conduct product training, deliver solution demonstrations, perform site visits, and provide technical support.

What We Look For

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Wireless Networking, IT, or Physical Security (a Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum of five years of experience in presales, technical support, or a related field within the KSA or GCC region.
• In-depth technical knowledge of networking, surveillance, and wireless solutions.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both English and Arabic (Arabic fluency is highly preferred).
• A proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to travel across Oman for customer engagements and onsite support.
