Maintenance Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate under direct supervision while demonstrating the ability to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Your expertise will be instrumental in making minor adaptations and modifications to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. With additional experience within a specific functional area, you will contribute to the design of larger and more complex assignments, including conventional plans, investigations, and surveys with relatively few complex features for which precedents exist.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Evaluation and Adaptation: Assess engineering tasks and apply standard techniques with sound judgment to implement minor adaptations and modifications, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Project Support: Assist in the design and execution of larger, more complex engineering projects within your functional area, adhering to conventional methodologies and established precedents.
• Operational Impact: Perform duties that indirectly influence cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and overall operational success through accurate and timely execution of tasks.
• Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify maintenance needs, propose solutions, and ensure seamless integration of engineering standards across projects.
• Compliance and Standards: Maintain adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and organizational guidelines to uphold the highest standards of engineering practice.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a strong foundation in engineering principles, supported by practical experience in a related field. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: An undergraduate degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with a typical range of 3 to 7 years in a maintenance or engineering capacity.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, along with the ability to apply judgment in adapting these methods to specific scenarios.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze challenges, propose effective solutions, and implement modifications to improve system performance.
• Communication and Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and stakeholders across various departments.
