O&M Quality Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented O&M Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance across all operational and maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance and Control: Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance and control processes to ensure all operational and maintenance activities adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze operational and maintenance processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and improve overall system reliability.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all operational and maintenance activities comply with international, national, and local regulations, as well as internal policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including quality records, audit reports, and compliance certificates, to support regulatory audits and internal reviews.
• Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to operational and maintenance teams on quality standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning to ensure all team members are equipped to uphold the highest quality standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and hazards associated with operational and maintenance activities, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Work closely with safety and environmental teams to ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and sustainable manner.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between operational teams, maintenance personnel, and senior management to ensure alignment on quality objectives and expectations. Communicate effectively to report on quality performance, highlight areas of concern, and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably within the operational and maintenance sectors. Experience in the railway, energy, or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing techniques, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and PDCA is essential. Familiarity with industry-specific software and data analysis tools is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to driving excellence.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
