About the Role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC, a leading global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a motivated and talented Electrical Engineer to join our Tamheer Program in Riyadh. As an Electrical Engineer within this program, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems critical to our manufacturing and operational processes. Key Responsibilities

  • System Design and Maintenance: Assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency in our pharmaceutical facilities.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical systems and installations adhere to local and international regulations, including those set by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and other relevant bodies, to uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, production, and quality assurance, to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure seamless operations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of electrical system performance, maintenance activities, and compliance reports, providing clear and concise documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Innovation and Optimization: Contribute to energy efficiency projects and the implementation of advanced technologies to enhance the sustainability and reliability of our electrical infrastructure.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities to expand your technical knowledge and advance your career within the pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and automation.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as NEC, IEC, and local regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using electrical design and analysis software, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a proactive approach to acquiring new skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
