Quality Officer – Power Generation

Position Overview

Alkhorayef Energy Systems (AES), a leading provider of power generation solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Officer – Power Generation to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability for our diesel generator systems, contributing directly to the operational excellence and customer satisfaction that define our reputation in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Officer within our Power Generation division, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and enforce stringent quality control and assurance processes throughout the manufacturing, assembly, and inspection phases of diesel generator systems. Your duties will include conducting thorough inspections of mechanical assemblies to verify compliance with engineering specifications, technical drawings, and industry standards. You will utilize precision measuring instruments—such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Dial Indicators—to perform dimensional inspections and ensure adherence to critical tolerances. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with production teams, engineers, and suppliers to identify and resolve quality-related issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field is required to ensure a strong foundation in the principles of quality assurance and mechanical systems.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) within the diesel generator industry is essential. This experience should include direct involvement in the inspection of mechanical assemblies to validate their compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Technical Proficiency: The ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and technical documentation is critical. You must also demonstrate proficiency in using precision measuring instruments to conduct accurate dimensional inspections and quality assessments.
• Quality Standards Knowledge: A solid understanding of quality control procedures, dimensional inspection techniques, and industry best practices is required. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality frameworks will be considered a significant advantage.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, document inspection findings, and report quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Analytical Mindset: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and process efficiency is highly valued.
