Role Overview

As a Team Leader – Stores in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for the efficient provisioning, procurement, delivery, receipt, storage, and issuance of all spare parts and equipment. Your leadership will ensure adherence to inventory control procedures, compliance with safety standards, and alignment with Almarai’s quality benchmarks across all Outbound Warehouse locations. You will play a pivotal role in providing management with accurate, timely information and reports to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Ensure product availability and accuracy for all Outbound Warehouse locations, maintaining compliance with Almarai’s standards for dairy, bakery, and other product categories.
  • Inventory Integrity: Monitor and maintain optimal storage capacity and system utilization in the Outbound Warehouse to prevent discrepancies and inefficiencies.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate inventory discrepancies by comparing orders against actual production output, implementing corrective actions to uphold data integrity.
  • Order Allocation: Ensure all orders and Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) are accurately allocated and covered in the load plans for all Outbound Warehouses.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Warehouse Operations, Transport Planning, Production Planning, ATOMS, and EWM teams to resolve inventory-related issues and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Load Planning Optimization: Continuously simulate and plan daily load plans for dairy, bakery, and other product categories to drive process improvements, enhance productivity, and optimize warehouse efficiency.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain Advanced Data Capture (ADC) logic within the EWM system for dairy, juice, and bakery operations to ensure seamless integration and data accuracy.

Requirements

  • Education: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and stock control processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, with experience using Power BI or other reporting tools considered an advantage.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends, implement improvements, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong communication and stakeholder management skills to lead and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Operational Resilience: Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work on rotating shift schedules to support operational demands.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with FMCG warehouse operations and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as SAP is preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in warehouse inventory control is highly desirable.
