Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), you will bridge the gap between high-level strategic vision and operational execution, ensuring that the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare is achieved through rigorous data analysis, performance monitoring, and cross-functional alignment. Your expertise in the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework, advanced analytics, and strategic project management will enable informed decision-making at the executive level, driving measurable outcomes across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

The Strategy Analyst is responsible for a wide range of strategic and analytical functions, including:

  • Strategic Planning & Alignment:
    • Lead and support the CSO in the annual and multi-year strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision and mission.
    • Facilitate cross-departmental strategy alignment workshops to ensure all business units’ objectives are coherently linked to the enterprise strategic plan.
    • Translate enterprise-level strategic objectives into departmental scorecards and operational targets, fostering vertical and horizontal alignment throughout the organization.
  • Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Management:
    • Own the design, development, and continuous refinement of the organizational BSC across all four perspectives: Financial, Customer, Internal Processes, and Learning & Growth.
    • Prepare and present high-level strategic performance reports, including KPI dashboards, variance analyses, and executive scorecards for the CSO, C-Suite, and Board of Directors.
  • Data Analysis & Insights:
    • Perform advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis on clinical, operational, and financial datasets to identify trends, performance gaps, and strategic opportunities.
    • Translate complex data into executive-level insights, enabling evidence-based decision-making.
    • Design the KPI framework, define measures and targets, and build the architecture of dashboards and visual reports using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Financial & Strategic Modeling:
    • Develop financial models, conduct scenario analyses, and perform cost-benefit and ROI assessments to support strategic investment decisions and recommendations to the CSO.
    • Assess the impact of process improvement initiatives and evaluate post-implementation outcomes, integrating findings into the BSC and strategic reporting.
  • Strategic Communication & Reporting:
    • Author strategic presentations, memos, and briefing documents for the CSO, C-Suite, and Board of Directors.
    • Lead the preparation of materials for strategic planning retreats and board-level performance reviews.
    • Attend strategic steering committees and executive meetings as an analytical resource, contributing insights and following up on strategic action items.
  • Risk Management & Capability Building:
    • Identify strategic-level risks, trends, and deviations, providing analytical recommendations and escalating critical issues to the CSO with supporting evidence and proposed corrective actions.
    • Assess capability gaps in strategic thinking and BSC application across the organization, advising on training needs and contributing to strategic literacy programs.
  • Project Portfolio Oversight:
    • Maintain oversight of the strategic project portfolio, monitoring alignment of all initiatives with the BSC and strategic objectives.
    • Identify portfolio-level risks and strategic gaps, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Executive Support & Rapid Analysis:
    • Respond to time-sensitive analytical requests from the CSO and executive team, conducting rapid research and structured analysis to inform urgent strategic decisions.
