Digital Transformation & IT Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Digital Transformation & IT Project Manager to lead and execute enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives and IT projects. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving projects from conception through to successful delivery, ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives, governance frameworks, budgetary constraints, and stakeholder expectations. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the organization’s digital future while maintaining rigorous standards of quality, security, and operational excellence.

Core Responsibilities

As the Digital Transformation & IT Project Manager, your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:

• Project Leadership & Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end execution of digital transformation and IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while meeting strategic business goals.
• Strategic Planning & Alignment: Develop comprehensive project charters, business cases, detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies. Ensure all initiatives are fully aligned with the organization’s digital transformation roadmap and long-term strategic vision.
• Scope & Risk Management: Proactively manage project scope, identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and address dependencies and change requests to maintain project momentum and integrity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, external vendors, and strategic partners to foster collaboration and ensure cohesive project execution.
• Performance Monitoring & Governance: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and governance reports to monitor project health, track progress, and provide transparent visibility to stakeholders. Ensure strict adherence to PMO governance, security protocols, architectural standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, and deliver clear, concise, and actionable communications to drive informed decision-making.
• Procurement & Vendor Management: Support procurement activities, including RFP evaluations, contract negotiations, and vendor performance management to ensure optimal outcomes and value delivery.
• Process Optimization & Innovation: Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and drive continuous innovation.
• Deployment & Benefits Realization: Ensure smooth deployment of solutions, seamless transition to operations, and the realization of intended business benefits and ROI.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
• Demonstrated expertise in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise applications, cloud technologies, data platforms, and system integration best practices.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of leading strategic and complex technology programs.
