Key Responsibilities

The Sales Associate will play a pivotal role in achieving sales targets and maintaining store standards. Your core duties will include:

• Customer Engagement and Sales:
  • Greet customers warmly and proactively assist them in selecting products that align with their preferences and needs.
  • Transform browsing customers into satisfied buyers through attentive and personalized service.
  • Promote the company’s loyalty program to foster long-term customer relationships and repeat business.
  • Adhere to the company’s GUEST model—Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank—to ensure a seamless and memorable customer journey.
  • Stay informed about the diverse brands within our portfolio to provide expert recommendations and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Educate customers on product features, benefits, materials, and care instructions to enhance their purchasing confidence.
• Professionalism and Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, reflecting the brand’s image.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and availability to accommodate extended hours during peak sales seasons, weekends, and holidays.
  • Continuously update your product knowledge to minimize stock loss and provide accurate, insightful recommendations to customers.
• Merchandising and Inventory Management:
  • Ensure products are displayed attractively and in accordance with store layout and visual merchandising (VM) guidelines.
  • Follow stock management protocols, particularly for clearance items, to maintain an organized and appealing sales floor.
  • Record and maintain precise inventory records for incoming and outgoing stock to support efficient operations.
  • Identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize sales potential.
  • Stay abreast of product inventory levels and ongoing promotions to communicate effectively with customers and drive sales.
• Point of Sale (POS) and Operational Duties:
  • Operate the POS system efficiently to process billing, transactions, and customer payments accurately.
  • Balance the cash till meticulously at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Process payments seamlessly via cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits, while issuing receipts, refunds, and change with precision.
  • Uphold store security protocols and adhere to loss prevention policies to safeguard company assets and customer information.
  • Regularly replenish and re-merchandise stock on the sales floor to guarantee product availability and an optimal shopping experience.
