Accountant - Private Equity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join a dynamic private equity firm based in Riyadh. This pivotal role will support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in driving the firm’s growth by overseeing fund administration and accounting functions. Key Responsibilities

• Fund Administration & Accounting: Provide hands-on support to the CFO in managing fund administration and accounting operations, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives.
• Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain meticulous and accurate financial records for private equity fund structures, adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Financial Statements & Investor Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and investor reports, delivering clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Capital Call & Distribution Processes: Support the execution of capital calls and distribution processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• NAV Calculations & Performance Reporting: Contribute to Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and fund performance reporting, providing critical data for decision-making.
• Audit Preparation & Liaison: Assist in audit preparation activities and serve as a liaison with external auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient audit processes.
• Process Improvement: Play a key role in building and refining fund accounting processes as the business continues to scale, driving operational efficiency and accuracy.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant Experience: Proven track record in fund accounting or fund administration, with a preference for candidates with direct experience in private equity environments.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of private equity fund structures and accounting principles, including familiarity with GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Experience supporting senior finance stakeholders, including CFOs, with a focus on delivering high-quality financial insights and reports.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a lean, scaling team environment, demonstrating resilience and agility in response to evolving business needs.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and precision in financial reporting, with a commitment to maintaining error-free records.
• Location: Must be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate to the city to support on-site operations.
