We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee all civil, structural, and architectural operations for an upcoming luxury hotel construction project. This pivotal role demands a proactive leader capable of driving project execution from inception to completion while ensuring strict adherence to quality benchmarks, safety protocols, and budgetary constraints. Key Responsibilities
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the following core duties:
- On-Site Leadership: Direct and supervise daily construction activities to guarantee superior workmanship, compliance with safety regulations, and alignment with project specifications.
- Technical Oversight: Review and validate architectural drawings, structural blueprints, and technical documentation to ensure alignment with design intent and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate seamless collaboration with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and site personnel to optimize workflow efficiency and maintain clear communication channels.
- Project Monitoring: Track project timelines, resource allocation, and material procurement to identify potential bottlenecks and implement corrective measures, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Safety and Compliance: Uphold rigorous Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, conduct regular site inspections, and report any incidents or deviations in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of site activities, including daily progress reports, material inventories, attendance logs, and quality control assessments to support audit trails and project transparency.
- Team Management: Evaluate the performance of site personnel, provide constructive feedback, and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity and maintain high operational standards.
Qualifications & Experience
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of five years of hands-on construction experience, with at least three years dedicated to hotel or high-rise construction projects.
- Regional Expertise: Prior experience working in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is highly advantageous.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation with precision.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP, to streamline project management and reporting processes.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership qualities, strong problem-solving abilities, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
