Role Overview

The Recruitment & Medical Insurance Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting Innova Pharmacy’s workforce and employee benefits administration. This full-time, on-site position is based in the Riyadh Region and is responsible for overseeing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing and screening to interview coordination and hiring decisions, all while ensuring alignment with the company’s staffing requirements. In addition to recruitment duties, the Specialist will manage medical insurance operations, including employee enrollment, policy updates, claims coordination, and communication with insurance providers to guarantee accurate and timely coverage. This dual-function role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR teams, pharmacy branch managers, and external partners to support workforce planning and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities

The Recruitment & Medical Insurance Specialist will be tasked with the following core responsibilities:

Recruitment Management

  • Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, including sourcing qualified candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and facilitating hiring decisions in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding recruitment progress.
  • Prepare and extend job offers and employment contracts, ensuring all documentation is accurately completed and maintained.
  • Lead onboarding activities for new hires to ensure a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Develop and nurture a robust talent pipeline to address future hiring needs and reduce time-to-fill positions.
  • Maintain comprehensive recruitment records and generate periodic reports to track hiring metrics and trends.

Medical Insurance Administration

  • Manage employee medical insurance enrollment, additions, deletions, and policy amendments in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain employee medical insurance policies in coordination with insurance providers and third-party administrators (TPAs).
  • Monitor the insurance loss ratio (Loss Report) and provide strategic recommendations to optimize coverage and cost efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company, insurance providers, and healthcare service providers to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Verify employee eligibility for medical insurance benefits and maintain accurate records of coverage and dependents.
  • Address employee inquiries related to medical insurance benefits, coverage details, and claims processing in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure the timely processing of new enrollments, dependents’ additions or deletions, and policy renewals to maintain uninterrupted coverage.
  • Track policy utilization and support annual renewal negotiations to secure optimal terms and benefits for employees.
  • Prepare detailed reports on insurance utilization, employee coverage status, and policy performance to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, local labor laws, and insurance regulations throughout all processes.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 2–5 years of professional experience in recruitment and medical insurance administration, with a proven track record in both domains.
  • Familiarity with medical insurance systems, policies, and regulatory frameworks in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees, HR teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, including the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using HR management software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and insurance administration platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all professional interactions.
