As we continue to expand, we seek a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to take charge of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management. This role is pivotal in supporting our lean core team while driving efficiency and growth through robust financial practices.

Key Responsibilities

As our Accountant, you will play a central role in maintaining the financial health of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

• Financial Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently in the general ledger.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support informed decision-making and regulatory compliance.
• Payroll & Employee Transactions: Process payroll and manage all employee-related financial transactions with precision and timeliness.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Maintain meticulous records of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections while optimizing cash flow.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to ZATCA requirements, VAT regulations, and other statutory obligations by preparing and submitting accurate tax filings and reports.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to guide strategic planning.
• Project Financial Oversight: Track project costs, revenues, and profitability to provide insights that enhance project performance and financial outcomes.
• Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Strengthen financial controls and streamline internal accounting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
• ERP System Management: Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing use of the Odoo ERP system to optimize financial operations and reporting.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and management to facilitate audits, ensure compliance, and provide financial insights.
• Strategic Financial Analysis: Assist leadership in analyzing financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, enabling data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting, with a preference for candidates with experience in consulting, professional services, engineering consulting, or project-based industries.
• Certifications: SOCPA certification or eligibility is a strong plus.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly Odoo.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Saudi accounting regulations, VAT, and ZATCA requirements.
