Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- System Design and Development: Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems, components, and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
- Project Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including civil, electrical, and structural engineers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet client expectations and project timelines.
- Technical Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed feasibility studies, simulations, and performance evaluations to assess mechanical systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommending innovative solutions.
- Documentation and Compliance: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications, while ensuring adherence to local and international codes, such as Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant ISO standards.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve mechanical engineering challenges, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize project disruptions and enhance operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth project execution, addressing technical queries and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Sustainability and Innovation: Drive initiatives that promote energy efficiency, sustainability, and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in mechanical engineering practices.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record in designing and implementing mechanical systems for infrastructure, transportation, or industrial projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools is a plus.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Saudi and international mechanical engineering standards, codes, and best practices, including SBC, ASHRAE, and ISO standards.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
