Financial Director

Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Financial Director to lead the financial strategy and operations of our dynamic organization within the digital ecosystem and Fintech sector. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this executive role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Board of Directors, playing a pivotal part in shaping the company’s future growth, financial resilience, and strategic direction. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in tech-enabled platforms, particularly in HealthTech, fintech, or other high-growth digital industries, and will demonstrate a proven ability to drive financial excellence while fostering ecosystem-oriented expansion.

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Director will be responsible for a broad range of strategic and operational financial functions, including:

• Strategic Financial Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives and Vision 2030 priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership to define long-term business plans, investment priorities, and operational efficiencies.
  • Drive financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning to support sustainable expansion and ecosystem adoption.
• Financial Planning & Performance Management:
  • Oversee financial planning, analysis, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, and capital allocation strategies.
  • Establish and monitor financial KPIs and performance dashboards to ensure transparency and accountability across business units and product lines.
• Funding & Capital Strategy:
  • Lead fundraising initiatives, including engagements with investors, venture partners, strategic stakeholders, and lenders.
  • Evaluate and structure optimal financing solutions, including equity, debt, and strategic partnerships, to fuel growth and innovation.
• Risk, Compliance & Governance:
  • Ensure adherence to local and international financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance best practices.
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance policies to safeguard the organization.
• Ecosystem & Partnerships Enablement:
  • Analyze the financial dynamics of ecosystem partners, including providers, payers, and technology integrators, to design value-sharing models.
  • Support pricing strategies, incentive structures, and revenue-sharing mechanisms critical to SaaS and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) offerings.
• Operational Finance & Team Leadership:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the finance and accounting teams, including controllers, FP&A, treasury, and reporting functions.
  • Champion automation, data-driven decision-making, and the adoption of advanced financial technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Reporting:
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports to executives, board members, investors, and key partners to facilitate informed decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Professional Background:
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with a strong focus on tech-driven companies such as HealthTech, SaaS platforms, fintech, or digital ecosystems.
  • Proven track record as a CFO, Finance Director, or Senior Financial Executive responsible for strategic finance and scaling operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex revenue streams, including subscription-based, transaction-linked, and platform-driven models.
  • Hands-on experience with fundraising, venture capital engagement, or strategic investor relations in high-growth environments.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, capitalization strategy, risk management, compliance, and treasury operations.
  • Strong understanding of digital financial systems, SaaS metrics (e.g., MRR/ARR), and ecosystem revenue modeling.
• Leadership & Strategic Skills:
  • Exceptional ability to partner with CEOs and boards, driving scaling initiatives, transformation, and ecosystem value creation.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the capacity to translate complex financial insights into actionable strategic decisions.
• Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Finance) and/or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are highly desirable.
