Role Overview

The General Manager is a pivotal, full-time leadership position based in Al Qaseem, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of designated business units, ensuring seamless alignment with YALJ Group’s strategic objectives in real estate and agriculture. The General Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, managing budgets, and optimizing performance across all functions. This position requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on leadership to lead and develop high-performing cross-functional teams, implement robust policies and procedures, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in service quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to contribute to long-term planning, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. The General Manager will also serve as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders, representing the company in professional forums and maintaining strong relationships with partners, investors, and regulatory bodies. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational management, all underpinned by unwavering ethical standards and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations across business units, ensuring efficient execution of strategies and adherence to YALJ Group’s core values and objectives.
• Financial Management: Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, control costs, and maintain a strong understanding of profit and loss (P&L) management to drive financial sustainability.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-term business planning, set performance targets, and implement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and sustainability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, investors, partners, and community representatives.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and YALJ Group’s policies, while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.
• Sustainability and Innovation: Champion sustainable practices in real estate and agriculture, aligning operations with environmentally responsible principles and driving continuous improvement.
