Key Responsibilities

• QSHE Compliance Oversight: Monitor and enforce adherence to QSHE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all sales activities, ensuring full compliance with local and international standards.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments for sales-related processes, identifying potential hazards and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks and prevent incidents.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver comprehensive QSHE training programs for sales teams, fostering a culture of safety and accountability while ensuring all personnel are well-versed in best practices.
• Incident Reporting and Investigation: Lead the investigation of QSHE-related incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze QSHE performance metrics, generating reports for management to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and corporate QSHE departments, to align strategies and ensure seamless integration of QSHE standards across all business functions.
• Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors, facilitating inspections and ensuring timely resolution of any compliance-related issues.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Champion Almarai’s commitment to environmental sustainability by promoting energy efficiency, waste reduction, and responsible resource management within sales operations.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a QSHE coordination or similar role, preferably within the FMCG or food industry, is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex regulations are critical. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with QSHE management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) are highly desirable.
