Key Responsibilities

As the VP of Finance, you will be the architect of the company’s financial strategy, with a primary focus on long-term growth, capital markets positioning, and IPO readiness. Your responsibilities will span:

• IPO Leadership: Drive the entire IPO process, including financial structuring, regulatory compliance, shareholder engagement, and exchange listing requirements, ensuring the company meets all prerequisites for a successful listing.
• Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives, including capital allocation, forecasting, and investor relations to maximize shareholder value.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a lean but high-performing finance team, including a Finance Director, to ensure operational excellence and alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Board and Investor Relations: Serve as the primary financial advisor to the CEO and board, delivering compelling presentations, financial narratives, and strategic insights to stakeholders and investors.
• Financial Governance: Establish and maintain robust financial controls, reporting frameworks, and governance structures that meet the rigorous standards of a publicly listed entity, ensuring transparency and compliance at every stage.
• Industry Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of the technology and AI sectors to refine financial models, assess market trends, and inform strategic decisions that drive sustainable growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a finance leader with a proven track record of success in high-growth technology environments and a demonstrated ability to navigate complex financial landscapes. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Extensive Experience: 15+ years of progressive finance leadership, with a strong background in technology, AI, or tech consulting, and a history of scaling businesses in fast-paced environments.
• IPO Expertise: Hands-on experience leading a company through an IPO process, with a deep understanding of the regulatory, operational, and strategic challenges involved.
• Market Knowledge: A strong grasp of the Saudi market, including familiarity with Tadawul and the unique dynamics of pre-IPO and listed environments in the region.
• Cultural Fit: Fluency in Arabic is preferred, with a strong preference for Saudi nationals or candidates who are fluent in Arabic. Candidates should be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate.
• Educational Background: A degree from an elite institution, such as Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford, or an equivalent top-tier university.
• Professional Credentials: Active certification in ACCA, CPA, or CMA, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and professional development.
